Message	It's the 4th of July in Texas which means 100 degree heat. When I bought the car 7 years ago it would freeze me within a couple of minutes. It has progressively gotten less effective and now does not cool at all. Since my car is a 90 and doesn't have the auto a/c system the diagnostic doesn't help me. I know nothing about a/c systems. Is there anything I can do to see what needs to be done? Does it sound like it just needs to be charged? How do I know if the compressor is working. Where exactly is the compressor? Any advice or things to start looking for will help. I will probably take it to an a/c person but I want to at least be knowledgeable about the system before I go.
